Open Morning
Our next Open Morning is on Wednesday 22nd May from 10am to 12pm. This will be an opportunity for prospective parents and professionals who work in other schools, colleges, nurseries and children’s centres to visit the school. Parents and carers are also very welcome to attend.
At St Giles we are passionate about learning. Our school community includes and values everyone, working together to achieve in a supportive, caring and professional way. Our enthusiasm and positive energy makes St Giles a truly happy and vibrant place to be.
We support Croydon Local Authority’s policy that the special educational needs of most pupils can be met in mainstream schools but that some pupils can only benefit from the expertise, skills and services that are available within a specialist school environment such as ours.
The school runs a number of events during the year for pupils, families and friends, including a disco and Summer Fun Day. We hold an annual Christmas event for our past pupils.
St Giles School is looking for teaching assistants (Grade 3) for September 2013 to work with our pupils with very complex needs.
